Having worked in the commercial catering industry for many years we certainly had a mixed range of experiences with cold rooms! We found that we needed a number of things that were non-negotiable:-

Reliability. A Cold Room needs to do what it’s supposed to do and that’s to keep the contents cool. Specifically, it has to run at or below 5 C to meet council standards and slightly above freezing. Our Cold Rooms are all set to run at 2 C. Plug them in and that’s exactly what they do . . .

Clean & Hygienic. Our Cold Rooms are cleaned and sanitised in between uses so when they arrive they are clean and presentable. That also means your produce is kept fresh and hygienic.
